Surely you have heard of it: the green plants have to improve the indoor climate. Do you know, however, which pollutants in our immediate environment exactly neutralize them?
First and foremost, humidity is an important factor in our well-being, but it is rarely included. Dry air in the room gradually wears off the oral and pharyngeal mucosa. The air conditioners, which cause irritating cough and unpleasant swallowing in some people, have similar effects. In the summer, in the heat moisture evaporates faster, which can lead to overheating.
In order to achieve balanced temperature-humidity conditions without additional electrical appliances in the living rooms, certain indoor plants come to our aid. They are a natural air regulator, so to speak.
Second, most cleaning and care products contain pollutants that we inhale on a daily basis. In small rooms, moreover, many pieces of furniture contain formaldehyde. All of this can lead to health problems. Which plants protect us from it and at the same time increase the humidity at home?
