The wooden table is stable, can serve you well for many years and because of its resilience it is called a piece of furniture for life. Do you think that the wooden table design is not varied and would look old-fashioned? On the contrary, the variety of table models made of solid wood is great. In the next lines we try to convince you and show you different types of wood for your new wooden table:
Birch wood furniture is synonymous with cosiness in the living room
The maple wood is preserved with its yellowish-white color for a long time. Darker variants of this nuance are also possible. Only intended for the interior, it is characterized by a discreet appearance.
The birch wood is about darker than maple wood and still almost white. It looks darker with time and is not weather resistant.
The Buchholz or Kernbuchholz is reddish colored and strongly grained. Its surface is robust and the compressive strength makes this wood perfect for a dining table. The slightly reddish and light brown shades are caused by aging of the tree.
The oak and wild oak wood are durable, solid and have an expressive grain. The gray-yellow to yellow-browed core has character and can also be used outdoors.
The cherry tree wood belongs with its reddish-brown coloring to the dark wood species. It darkens in sunlight, but should rather be used in the interior design and used for the production of high quality furniture. Compared to other materials it looks great.
The walnut wood has a rich brown color, the colorations are different and dependent on the location. It can be worked very well, although it looks very interesting if left untreated. The material is sturdy and suitable for table making, but it is rather expensive.
As you have seen, most variants are designed for the interior. When buying, we recommend to select this dining table, in which the character of the wood remains (small irregularities we take in the purchase). The other selection criteria depend entirely on you and your personal taste.
