Method 1 - white wine

This sounds absurd, but this method is often used and completely effective. The cleaning with white wine works perfectly with fresh and not dried red wine stains. Water the affected area and let the liquid work on it for a few minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water and some soap for better cleaning.

Method 3 - table salt

Sprinkle the stain with salt, just like the greasy stains, and wait while the salt absorbs the red wine. If that does not work the first time, repeat the procedure. Try not to rub in the salt but to shake it out. When the stain is gone, rinse with lukewarm water.

Method 5 - Glycerin

You can also remove red wine stains with glycerin and egg yolk. This method is particularly suitable for colored textiles. Mix 50g glycerine with egg yolk and apply the substance to the stain and leave to work for a few hours. After that, wash as usual.

Another application of glycerin is if you soak the dress or tablecloth in cold water with glycerin. In a few minutes, rinse with water and vinegar.

The third option is the following: Mix glycerine, detergent and water in a ratio of 1: 1: 8. Stir everything together carefully and squeeze some of it into the stain with one Sponge. Repeat the procedure several times and always with a clean sponge, as long as the stain is completely absorbed. Rinse the spot with water.
