In contemporary apartments one sees more and more living space, without thresholds, but only with seamless transitions. This has established itself as a modern trend in interior design. This interior design brings more light into the ambience and gives the apartment a very pleasant spaciousness. The strict design of the traditional living area with walls and doors is long gone. No one says that the open floor plan is easy. In order to be able to successfully carry out such a project, one should first of all carefully consider the desired overall style of the apartment, the ambience and its existing resources. An excellent example of this exquisite and exclusive trend is a modern apartment in Zaporizhia, in the Ukraine.
A great wooden shelf divides the living area from the dining area
The task of the young Ukrainian designer Eugene Meshcheruk was to transform the 84 m² of living space into a cozy and modern apartment for a young family. The living space was divided into a private and an open space. The open interior design was achieved by the demolition of some walls. So kitchen, living room and TV area got a new open modern and spacious look. The cozy atmosphere in the apartment was complemented by pale yellow accents. The interior of the apartment consists mainly of environmentally friendly materials. Tinted plywood was used in the living area and in the bathroom. The idea for the use of natural materials has been extended by means of brick elements and wooden boards. The clever combination of all textures delimits the individual rooms of the apartment.
Small rooms look bigger and more spacious with simple white furniture
The wood shelf between the TV and dining area has a beautiful and natural accent. The entire room remains bright and spacious, at the same time the individual zones were separated in this way. This sensation was intensified by the different light sources - the local and hidden lighting plays an important role. The unique wall covering adds an adorable and accenting accent to every zone.
The local lighting ensures a gentle coziness in the evening.
The private area for the young owners of the apartment is the simple bedroom with a natural look full of wood decor, pale colors and clear lines. The transparent white curtains bring a romantic tenderness into the room. The small room was not burdened with large furniture and so it seems brighter and more spacious.
The gray textiles can be ideally combined with the wooden wall
The bathroom corresponds to the overall concept of the housing design. A wall is covered with wooden panels, the floor color is bright and the ceramic elements are in bright white.
The local lighting above the dining table separates the dining area in the room
This trendy, urban apartment combines natural materials, contrasting surfaces and space-saving interior design. The basic color concept in all rooms consists of snow white, pale yellow, beige, gray and wood colors - a perfect solution for the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of this trendy apartment.
