The owner of the luxury jewelry boutique Catbird resides in an oversized brownstone in New York City. The house was built in 1905. The additional alterations took Vardi and her husband two years. The business woman had then taken over the general design decisions and the impressive facility itself. Now you have the opportunity to take a look at the great interior design of the house.
Townhouse owned by Rony Vardi
The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The biggest change in the floor plan was the integration of the kitchen and the dining and living room into an open spacious space. The result is a generous and airy atmosphere, emphasized only by the French doors. The room leads out to the backyard, which has been fitted with artificial turf.

The interior includes a variety of antique pieces of furniture, as well as flea market finds and worn floor carpets in a vintage look. The hanging plants also create a relaxed atmosphere.

The owner had also decided to preserve the structure of the original wooden floors.
Natural materials such as wood, for example, provide a homely atmosphere
Once painted in pumpkin orange, the wooden floorboards in some rooms look bright white today. In this way, an authentic used look is achieved.

Natural materials such as wood, marble and brick create a cozy atmosphere. On the mantelpiece in the living room we see personal souvenirs, which contribute to the cozy feeling.

The simple design of the bathroom reveals the practicality of the homeowner. Not only in this room, but throughout the house, you will find sumptuous pieces of furniture and precious objects that tell a lot of history.

The furnishing of the sandstone house is a fulfilled dream, says Mrs. Vardi, just as she had wished.
