About Me

Hi there! I'm Mrs. Collier. Welcome to my blog! I'm a Christian, a wife, a daughter, a Ph.D. candidate, an artist, an optimist, an organizer, a planner and an entrepreneur. I'm just a gal transplanted from the North to the South. And I'm always up for a challenge and an adventure

I started documenting my life, happenings and adventures in blog-form in 2011 after Mr. Collier popped the question! We've been together since 2008 and you can read more about our first official date and the rest of our story. Quickly, blogging transformed from a hobby into passion. Mr. Collier and I were married in January of 2012 and had an awesome wedding! {no bias there!}

Now I focus on life. The good, the bad and the ugly! I write a lot about recipes and ways to be frugal because food and savings are two of my favorite things. I would describe myself as a "connector" or a person that distributes information from person to person.  I share reasonable home projects and DIY decor ideas on the cheap that I come across as well as attempt [and sometimes fail, don't judge I'm no expert]. You'll also find a lot of support and encouragement here because I love to lift people up! I'm all about healthy living, diet and fitness. Life is hard enough as it is to get down and out! So take your shoes off and stay awhile!

  4. I stumbled across your blog while searching for a yellow squash recipe (of all things) and had to leave a comment! Collier is my mother's maiden name. My grandparents were also Mr. and Mrs. Collier ... for nearly seventy blissful years. And she never called him by his first name, but simply Collier, for as long as I can remember. :)

    So hi there, Mrs. Collier - from the granddaughter of another Mrs. Collier!
